I worked with CORTIS in Seoul for Apple’s 50th anniversary, and this is a behind the scenes look at how the entire creative session came together. The goal was simple: have fun, honor their creativity, and create something that felt true to them, all filmed on iPhone. Before we even started shooting, it was important for me to build a real connection with CORTIS and their team because they’ve directed their own music videos before and already understand visuals, performance, movement, and the creative process. My role was to bring a different perspective to the table and show what was possible with iPhone filmmaking. In this video, I break down the process of working with CORTIS, from arriving in Seoul and introducing the creative mission, to collaborating on set, finding the right energy, and producing a piece that felt smooth, intentional, and collaborative. Shoutout to CORTIS and their entire team for making this process feel easy, smooth, and creatively open.
